Canada geese goslings

In May 2020, I spent a long time photographing a whole family of geese next to Swan Lake at Rockefeller State Park Preserve, NY. These three goslings curled up under their mom’s wing for a nap, and I caught them just waking up and starting to peer out. This was an example of patience paying off. I was probably in the same spot for 45 minutes. The beauty of digital photography is that you can take 200 images and be happy if three come out well.
